I know, it’s been some time again since I last gave you a shout. And it seems like it going to turn out exactly the same way it did the last time I tried to start a blog. But it’s not like that. I had so much to do during the past weeks that I didn’t even managed to go to the gym, clean up my flat or go to the choire practices. Now, at Thursday, I finally conducted my e-business presentation and submitted the paper, that cost me almost every free minute during the past weeks.

I think I have to catch up with the blogging now. Starting with the Muse concert at October 28th that I visited in Hamburg with a good friend (Felix). It was simply awesome! I already tried to describe that to some people, but it’s not that easily put into words. Pictured will do a much better job. Sorrily I forgot my cell phone that evening, so I wasn’t able to record anything. But there were enough other people who did that for me and even in HD quality. So, for those of you who want to get an impression, here’s the intro and the first song of the concert. But be aware, the music of Muse definitely counts as “special interests”:

This was on a Wednesday evening. I took the next day off, which was a good decision as we drank cocktails that evening. Felix’ girlfriend once worked in a disco and thus has pretty good cocktail-lounge-skills. :D

Two weeks later I’ve visited Valerie from Austria in Munich. Very multicultural, yes! She even baked a cake for me. :) Thank you again! After 8.5 hours of driving car I didn’t have much energy left to go out the first evening. So we decided to watch Disney’s Aladdin – hard to believe that a girl really didn’t know that movie by then. Of course I was in charge of closing her knowledge gap. ;) The next day we visited Munichs inner city where we ate “Weißwurscht mit Brez’n” (Bavarian veal sausage with pretzel). In the evening we moved through Munichs cocktail lounges and I had my first Bloody Mary. Well, “moved” is a little exaggerated, as we already stuck in the second cocktail lounge for the rest of the evening. By the way this is a personal recommendation for everyone who is going to look for a good cocktail lounge in Munich: The Vanilla Lounge.

The following weekend I had cocktails again. I visited Brett and Heather Seybold and their little daughter Fiona in Göttingen (near Hannover). It was a really nice weekend. The first evening we made good for the cocktail evening that was acutally planned for my last visit a year ago. The next day we were at a very American bar in the inner city of Göttingen and the last day we went to the service of the FeG Göttingen. I liked it a lot.

Last weekend I was in Hamburg again, or more precise, in Buxtehude. And I really like knowing someone who’s living in this often quoted location. :D There we celebrated Felix’ 24th Birthday extensively on saturday. The day before we were in the movies, watching The Twilight Saga: New Moon, which I can really recommend, by the way. After a long birthday-night I drove home on Sunday evening with a little headache, to prepare for the exam that I had sit on Thursday. And today I’ll go to see The Twilight Saga: New Moon a second time, because I promised a female friend of mine – and I gladly do so.

I also managed to work on the new design of Good Hope Sambia. But I am waiting for feedback before I can begin to integrate it into the new website. The way it looks will stay a secret, though, until it’s done. ;)

And now it’s for sure: I will go to the USA next year and see ‘The Lion King’ in New York’s Broadway!! I’m really exited about that, it’s gonna be awesome! But I’ll have to wait until the 14th of May.

That’s it again. Next week the Christmas party of the Berufsakademie (university of cooperative education) will take place. During Christmas time I will be in Frankfurt City again and this is where I’m gonna have my birthday party, as well. See you!
